TPI Golf Screens

A golf-specific movement assessment that maps your physical limitations to the way your body moves during the swing.

A golf-specific movement assessment that maps your physical limitations to the way your body moves during the swing.

Golf is a rotational sport. When the hips, thoracic spine, pelvis, or shoulders do not move well, the low back often becomes the area that pays for it. TPI golf screening looks at the mobility, stability, and control needed to rotate efficiently, maintain posture, and reduce unnecessary stress through the swing. Dr. Eric Merritt is TPI Medical Level 2 Certified.

What I assess

Golf-specific mobility, stability, balance, posture, rotational control, hip and thoracic motion, shoulder function, and physical characteristics that may influence your swing.

What care may include

TPI-based movement assessment, mobility work, corrective exercise, strength and control recommendations, and targeted treatment for physical limitations that may be affecting the swing.

What to expect

The screen is used to connect physical findings with the demands of your golf swing. You will leave with a clearer understanding of which limitations may matter and a plan to address them through treatment, mobility, or training.
